OUR BUSINESS MODELS
To implement our CCHAP Meals on Wheels program we focus on the "Food as Medicine" Model which provides substantial research on how the right nutrients can help boost our body's natural immune response to chronic and acute health problems. Our approach in assisting entrepreneurs in our Grassroots Business Guru Program (GBGP) runs parallel to that implemented by Rising Tide Capital, a nonprofit organization based in Jersey City, NJ that has been honored by President Obama for their work with aspiring entrepreneurs. OUR PARTNERS
For us it is not about re-inventing the wheel, but rather, making strategic alliances with other agencies in our service areas who are just as passionate about entrepreneurship as we are--so that we can continue working with our primary target audience which is our niche. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank the many agencies and small businesses that have supported us through client referrals and as training facilitators:

OUR VOLUNTEERS
To maximize agency resources and decrease operating costs, we depend on volunteers to help us serve others. Currently we have over 40 volunteers who support our agency programs. We are always in search of more individuals who want to 'Pay-It-Forward' to help someone else in need. OUR OUTCOMES
We seek to accomplish the following outcomes across all programs:
- Sharply decrease the number of food insecure seniors across the communities we serve
- Increase the number of seniors who survive chronic and acute health conditions by increasing their access to healthy, prepared food
- Increase the number of minority entrepreneurs that receive financial support for their businesses through available loan and grant programs
- Increase the number of small business entrepreneurs whose new businesses survive (stay open) after the first two years of establishment
- Increase the number of established small business owners who increase their operating revenue by at least 20% as a result of receiving technical assistance through our program
